The expanded clay sand produced by our company can be classified into three density grades: high, medium, and low. It also comes in four strength levels: 52 MPa, 69 MPa, 86 MPa, and 103 MPa. The standard particle sizes are primarily 850–425 μm, 600–300 μm, 425–212 μm, and 212–106 μm.
Ceramic sand used in the hydraulic fracturing process is an engineered proppant designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures encountered in deep oil and gas wells. Made from high-quality raw materials such as bauxite, it is processed into uniform, durable particles. Unlike traditional silica sand, ceramic sand provides superior strength and low crushing potential, ensuring that fractures remain open during the hydraulic fracturing process.
